Margaux Sauvé aka Ghostly Kisses has unveiled her new single ‘Don’t Know Why’, the follow-up to her previous cut ‘J’ai demandé à la lune’. With the production being a tender bed of minimalism, Sauvé’s airy vocals sing of the final stages of parting ways with a lover after nothing working to keep them together. ‘Don’t Know Why’ is co-produced with Louis-Ettiene Santais and Doveman/Thomas Bartlett.

In regards to the single, Ghostly Kisses said:

“‘Don’t Know Why’ talks about a separation, the moment when you realize you’ve tried everything and you don’t want to fight anymore. ‘Don’t know why I could never make it alright’ is sung in the chorus, expressing failure, guilt and the realization that you have to accept defeat and go your own way.”
