Having already built a name in the world of fashion, Manna McLeod now proves that she is also talented as a singer with her debut single ‘Sundress’. A silky webbing of jazz, soul and Hip-Hop, the track takes a nod at the glorious 90s era where all three styles beautifully meshed. Manna’s vocals are rich and lush, highly displaying her ability to not only be a force behind the camera, but now one in the music business as well. If this is a taste of what’s coming down the pipeline for the multi-talented artist, then we’re definitely excited to see what she has in store for the near future.
Touching on the song, Manna stated:
“When I wrote ‘Sundress’ I was visualising my life with my husband in a beautiful home, we’re both working from home on a Friday. My music is very much about love, intimacy and sex – that’s because it’s personal, it’s so powerful. A good song that you can slow whine to has the capacity to make my day so bright and that’s what I love to share with the world. ”
