Stream Lee Bowie’s ‘Save’

Duo Lee Bowie have shared their latest single ‘Save’, which is taken from their forthcoming album. Tackling the issue of being too dependent in an ill-mannered relationship, musically the track is an upbeat handing of experimental and art pop with jazz style vocals brilliantly placed atop. Peppy piano play align with bopping drums and sharp synth lines, all resulting in one overly infectious tune. ‘Save’ follows Lee Bowie’s previously released cut ‘Break’.

Regarding the song, Lee Bowie mentioned:

“One of us gave years of their life to a person, hoping that the person would someday give something back. Eventually they had to prioritise their own mental health and leave instead of saving someone who didn’t want to be saved.

This song is like an end of an era for us, where the thoughts of “you’re not enough” were put to the side. So even though the song has an eerie soundscape, it’s the happiest song that could’ve been written. Because it set one of us free.”
