Chicago band Company of Thieves have returned following a hiatus since the release of their 2011 album Running From A Gamble. Their new EP Better Together comes behind the members’ solo works in between the 7 year absence. Comprised of five songs, two being live recordings, EP finds the band back in their zone, weaving a tightrope around alternative and indie pop. ‘Better Together’ in itself is a testament to the group’s magic that has stretched for over a decade.
Touching on their song ‘Window’ which is featured on ‘Better Together’, Genevieve Schatz mentioned:
“Great friends can see something in us that we can’t yet see in ourselves- the ability to make it through, the light at the end of the tunnel. This song is about seeing the best in each other and ourselves, finding windows where there were once only walls.”
