Brooklyn band Cigarettes After Sex have been quite the talk since emerging on the scene four years ago and releasing their I. EP. Following up with their Affection/Keep On Loving You record in 2015, the band led by Greg Gonzalez, have are now officially signed to Partisan Records and are currently working on their debut full length.
Cigarettes After Sex’s latest recording ‘K.’ is a hazy and soothing work of indie pop that chronicles the feelings of Gonzalez towards an ex-lover who has re-appeared in the picture with ‘no strings attached’. The vivid storytelling in the song is powered by melancholic production that, whilst at times provoke a particular sadness, is also met with hope. Check it out.
