London band Bokito have unveiled their latest single ‘OKOK’. Mesmeric with the indie pop cut also embedded with Hip-Hop elements in terms of the drums, a repeating guitar riff gets stacked with building instrumentation during high points whilst spacious and minimal during other moments. A brilliant and engaging song, Bokito is a band that deserves every bit of accolades given to them.
Touching on ‘OKOK’, frontman Moses Moorhouse stated:
“‘OKOK’ is about pushing people away who don’t give you exactly what you want and subsequently losing them. Be it friendships, partnerships, even family, we all have a history of doing it. Ben Jackson produced the track and did an amazing job capturing the fragility and insecurity in it. For me, this is the type of song I want to make.”
