London producer Blinkie has dropped a killer double-single package. The tracks ‘What You Want’ and ‘What You Do’ are out via his PXL Records label.
‘What You Want’ is a punchy and driving stake of future-forward deep house stacked with spacey, stabbing synths and echoing vocal samples whilst pulsing 4×4 drums power the cut from underneath.
‘What You Do’ finds Blinkie incorporating a tech element into his production, once again adding appropriate vocal snippets, giving it a sing-along appeal, whilst simultaneous commanding any listener to dance.
Touching on the single package, Blinkie mentioned:
“The inspiration behind me making ‘What You Do’ and ‘What You Want’ was the 90s techno and house scene. I wanted to make something different from my usual sound – something a bit more moody, gritty and energetic more for underground clubs.”
