Vibrant 60’s psych, pop, rock & roll and the idea of liberation – these are all pieces of the puzzle pertaining to the new debut self-titled LP of Athens-based band My Drunken Haze. Produced by King Elephant, the LP’s storyline revolves around a woman’s venture through love, want, break-up and escapism through narcotics. Sometimes sleek, sometimes fuzzy guitar riffs sit in unison with harmonious pop choruses whilst the luscious vocals of Matina Sous Peau add the necessary sweetener, making for an LP that captures a particular spirit of the original Summer of Love.
