After being relatively quiet over the past three years, Steve Lacy makes his return with a new single dubbed ‘Nice Shoes’.

Taking drum and bass production, slowing it down and giving it a chopped pattern, ‘Nice Shoes’ gracefully straddles the line of dance, pop, and soul. Towards the end of the track, Steve switches the D&B sonics to an airy, smokey R&B moment before jumping back to the original sound of the cut. Not losing one bit of musical creativity, we’re patiently awaiting for his upcoming album.
