St. Catherine’s Child will release her forthcoming coming album This Might Affect You on June 15th via Shamus Records. Unveiling her previous track ‘Negative Space’ last month, she now brings forth her new single ‘New Eden’.

‘New Eden’ is a tender and emotional ballad that deals with the abstract space of being in a place of new love whilst dealing with the hardship of a previous loss. With tender production acting as the palette underneath St. Catherine’s Child’s lush vocals, ‘New Eden is a beautiful soundtrack to a definite quandary.

Touching on the single, St. Catherine’s Child stated:

“‘New Eden’ is about meeting my partner mere months before I lost my father, about the uncomfortable dissonance that formed between such incredible happiness and utter sadness. Life doesn’t ask you if you’re ready before it moves on, but that does mean hope and love spring absolutely eternal, no matter how dark it gets on the journey.”
