NYC-based duo Sofi Tukker have announce details regarding their forthcoming debut album Treehouse. Landing April 13th via Ultra Music, the LP features guest appearances by NERVO, Alisa Ueno and Charlie Barker. The new record also features their hit ‘Best Friend’.

Sofi Tucker have also shared their latest single ‘Baby I’m A Queen’. Building up from their signature tropical sound, lashing guitar streaks give it that extra punch, with the tune fully occupying pop territory as well as a dance region.

Regarding ‘Baby I’m A Queen’, Sofi Tukker mentioned:

“Just because you are vulnerable, doesn’t mean you have to let yourself be belittled or infantilized (why is “baby” the default nickname?)” the band says of the song. “We are strong and empowered because we cry, because we desire, and because of what is chaotic about us. This song is about standing up as strong and powerful, because of that courage to share ourselves. It’s about being both a baby and a queen at the same time.”
