With their new album The Painful Truth out on May 23rd, UK legends Skunk Anansie have released their new single and video ‘Lost and Found’.

Directed by front woman Skin, and filmed in Munich, the somewhat dark video finds her assaulted by a demon in human form, who leaves her heavily bruised. Towards the end Skin is back in top form playing with her band. The story reflects the results of loss and the strength to bounce back.

Touching on the video, Skin mentioned:

“We wanted to evoke the loneliness and desperation that can occur in a split second by one tiny mistake. Any of us at any time can lose the security built up over a lifetime whether it be via an accident, or a sudden twist of fate.”
