Norwegian singer Siv Jakobsen delivers quite the stunning video for her single ‘Like I Used To’. Directed by Jørgen Nordby, the dreamy clips of snowy and rural parts of the country are stylishly shot as Jakobsen stands among the grand environment.
Touching on the video, director Jørgen Nordby stated:
“The fun thing about making videos with Siv is the abcence of planning and instead just completely playing it by ear. We had a car and a destination, everything else you see in the video is just a documentation of the moment, with the stunning backdrop of rural Norway.”
Siv Jakobsen added:
“Jørgen and I have a thing for making videos outside, for using nature as a backdrop for my songs. We wanted to take it to the next level with this one, and go on a road trip to the Rondane mountains, to capture their intensity and beauty. I feel strongly connected to Norwegian nature, and it definitely has an impact on my songwriting. Norway’s scenery is intense and vast and stunning, and it felt like a very natural choice to use it as a backdrop for ‘Like I Used To’.”
