Oakland garage rockers Shannon & The Clams have shared their new track ‘The Moon Is In The Wrong Place’. The song is the title cut taken from their forthcoming album which is out May 10 via Easy Eye Sound. The LP is a dedication to front woman Shannon Shaw’s fiancé Joe Haener who sadly loss life in a car accident before their wedding day.
Produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys fame, ‘The Moon Is In The Wrong Place’ is raw garage tune that is also steeped with a 60s psychedelic sound. Singer Shannon Shaw sings of an imposter being in the sky, with the title pulling from astrology and acknowledging when things aren’t lined up for the better.
