Los Angeles band Sextile have shared their new single ‘Current Affair’, which features actress Sienna Scarritt. Politically driven, the track deals with the modern state of America as racing post-punk production fuels a sense of dire urgency to step up and make a change. Challenging the role of media in the process, this is the sound of protest in its most potent form. ‘Current Affair’ is taken from Sextile’s latest LP Albeit Living, which is out now via Felte.

Discussing ‘Current Affair’, Sienna Scarritt stated:

“The song addresses the regression of our (America) nation. It’s a backwards motion, a lapse happening in front of our eyes – happening fast”. She adds: “The song is a verbal refusal of getting caught in this current of delusion. It’s a plea to the world to wake up.”
