Last month Siblings Say Lou Lou released their new album Dust. One of the first tracks on the LP is the song ‘Blue Rain’, which, rather than dropping a conventional music video for it, the pair have opted for a short film.

Considering that acting is one of the things that Say Lou Lou can easily pull from their talent bag, a short film makes perfect sense. The video revolves around Say Lou Lou’s Elekra Kilbey revealing to a partner that she slept with someone else. There are also scenes where she is being shot by paint balls as if it were an art exhibition, yet seems to represent a crucifixion of sorts. At the end she smiles when the onlookers leave.
