Filmed in a murky, dark and decaying building, is Savages’ new video for “I Am Here”. Basically the clip features the band performing the song in the somewhat (which is an understatement) gloomy environment. Savages have also uploaded a 20 minute audio video of the resonant frequency recording of the track, which you can watch here. For those who don’t know the story, the recording process was inspired from Alvin Lucier’s same technique used for “I Am Sitting In A Room”, which was a continual recording of playbacks stemming from the first take. Have a look.
