For over 10 years London group Nimmo have been heroines of the underground. Starting out as Nimmo and the Gauntletts (founded by Sarah Nimmo and Reva Gauntlett), the band eventually landed a major label deal, then walked away from it, opting for their creative freedom, and to actually get their music out. Throughout the ever constant grind of the music business, Nimmo released a load of singles, as well as their 2019 debut album The Power. Fast forward to 2024 and the band expressed that they would be on a hiatus to concentrate on solo material. Now in 2025, Sarah Nimmo has emerged with her new single and video ‘Underground’.

‘Underground’ is an upbeat dance track that keeps in stride with the previous Nimmo sound. The video itself captures the spirit of club culture, with Sarah working as a barback, a sort of dedication to her time as a staff member of the former London club The Glory. The video is directed by Louis Rembges.
