RY-GUY’s ‘Dunja’ is a Must-Listen

RY-GUY is a South London-based artist blending sounds to create something truly exciting. The rising artist has announced the release of his upcoming EP like a river, scheduled to drop March 27th. Along with the news, RY-GUY has also shared his latest single ‘Dunja’.

Tapping into a 60s psychedelic and bridging it with modern indie rock sonics, the instantly catchy tune pays homage to ethnic women who have had to deal with the challenges of living in the west. An amazing piece of work, ‘Dunja’ has us eager for the forthcoming EP.

Along with the single, RY-GUY has also unveiled a coinciding video which you can check out below.

Touching on the track, RY-GUY stated:

“A powerful anthem for ethnic women navigating the challenges of a Western world, this song speaks to their resilience in overcoming male oppression, violence, and the patriarchy. It’s a celebration of strength, defiance, and the pursuit of freedom in the face of adversity.”
