Rose Gray steps into the past, reflecting on her childhood in her latest video ‘Blue’. Directed by Harris Dickinson, the visuals weave between Gray in the present, standing in front of Walthamstow Stadium and scenes of her as a youth, sharing it with a close friend.
The song itself is the title track to Rose Gray’s forthcoming EP, which also follows her debut single ‘Good Life’.
Regarding ‘Blue’, Rose Gray mentioned:
“I feel like as we grow up, we get more and more broken, so I wanted to put out a song about that. I’m really proud of this song as it’s a true insight into my world… growing up and all the in-between stuff. I feel connected to everything I write but ‘Blue’ has an extra special place for me right now. It’s the first track on my debut EP and is really close to my heart.”
