Defected Records continue to deliver quality house music without the frills or filler with the remix package release of Lovebirds’ “Holdin On” featuring Lisa Shaw. The Shapeshifters are first called to task, producing a deep, lush and soulful remake while Rob Mello rounds it out with an 80s synth-funk redo. “Holdin On Remixes” is out August 8th.
