While the name Evy Jane may suggest only one person, it is actually a duo effort consisting of singer Evelyn Jane Mason and producer Jeremiah Klein. The Vancouver-based pair first caught the ears of the press with their 2012, smoked-out r&b release “Sayso”. Mason and Klein return with their latest EP “Closer”, out August 25th on Ninja Tune. With a continuation of their dark, lo-fi electronic/r&b mash-up, Evy Jane have joined the likes of How to Dress Well, fka Twigs and other acts stretching the limits of the sound.
