Both T. Raumschmiere and Housemeister are already stars in their own right individually.
Housemeister has been firmly embedded in the techno scene since the late 90s, eventually releasing records in the very early 2000s on labels such as BPitch Control, Monkeytown, as well as Boysnoize Records, just to name a few. His is also the head honcho over at AYCB. Having a big hand in the Berlin club scene, it’s safe to say that Housemeister’s status is quite iconic.
T. Raumschmiere, whose background extends not only electronica but punk, has worked with mega acts such as Miss Kitten. Merging techno with his rock influences, he played a big part of the re-emergence of that blended sound in the 2000s. He is also the co-founder of the Shitkatapult label.
Both artists recently came together under the moniker T.Raumhouse for the single ‘Samstag Nacht’, which is out now via Iptamenos Discos. Powered by sweltering synths, robotic vocals, and driving 4×4 kicks, the song is a meeting ground for techno, dance punk, industrial, and more.
T.Raumhouse have now dropped the official video for the song. What appears to be an underground club, the pair, who are wearing masks, perform the cut on stage whilst two gorgeous women dance along. There is a sense of nostalgia with the visuals that fits perfectly with the atmosphere. We have a premiere of ‘Samstag Nacht’ which you can watch below.
