Montreal group Paupière have returned with their new single ‘Howard Carter’. An ode the legendary London Egyptologist and archaeologist who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922, the musical palette is that of sexy and infectious synth-pop and disco. With the lyrics sung in French, the upbeat track may not instantly trigger thoughts of Howard Carter’s excavation, but it’s definitely a soundtrack for our weekends. Have a listen.
