Party Dozen Return with ‘Coup De Gronk’

Australian art punk rockers Party Dozen make their return with a new single called ‘Coup De Gronk’. The song is taken from their upcoming album Crime in Australia, which is out September 6th on Temporary Residence Ltd.

What you get here is an amalgamation of no wave, punk, and art rock rolled into an unorthodox instrumental offering. Like their previous recordings, Party Dozen keep you sonically engaged the entire duration of the track. From the obscure breakdowns and shifts throughout the instrumentation, ‘Coup De Gronk’ bursts with excitement.

Along with the song, Party Dozen have also shared an official video, which you can watch below.

Regarding the video, Party Dozen mentioned:

“The brief for this clip was Party Dozen Debt Collectors – unhinged and unlikely. We’re not violent people, so in lieu of actual violence we had to be a little more creative with the enforcing.

Tanya and Jason captured the perfect mix of delinquency and humour, with clear nods to classic Australian gang films and old crime shows with that hazy smear of motion film.”
