With her debut LP Hard Hearted Woman out March 13th, Ora Cogan has unveiled a new single titled ‘The Smoke’, which is also taken from the upcoming project.

A brilliant hybrid of folk, psych, and even a tad of country, ‘The Smoke’ has a trance-like quality, musically lifting in somewhat of a spiritual sense. A gorgeous release from Cogan, you can check out ‘The Smoke’ below.

Touching on the track, Ora Cogan mentioned:

“The Smoke’ is about theatre of the absurd. It is about how humans can be ridiculous and still beautiful. How we can hero worship, villainize and romanticize each other. Sometimes perception shifts depending on how and where the light is hitting. This song is about losing faith in people and continuing to bend towards love.”
