It seems the queen of daytime talk has finally made her big step forward with the launching of her Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011.

The programming of OWN will include shows such as “Masterclass”, an inside look at power players who have left a huge mark on the world. The spotlight will include people such as rapper Jay-Z and Diane Sawyer. The “Dr. Phil Show” will air on the network Jan. 3, 2011 as well as Peter Walsh’s “Enough Already!”, a show in which the expert helps different families to rid their homes of junk and clutter. “Your Own Show” is a series that will feature ten contestants who will compete for their own television show while learning key industry points leading towards television success.

The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) is a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Harpo Inc.
