Nikon has announced the release of their latest FX-format camera, the D4. The company has installed a new Nikon FX-format CMOS image sensor that counts 16.2 effective megapixels as well as the EXPEED 3 image-processing engine. The AF boasts 51 focus points that works with the new Advanced Multi-CAM 3500FX autofocus sensor module. Of course, similar to most dslr cameras on the market, it has full HD capability of 1920 x 1080 frame size and a rate that supports 30fps. The camera flaunts its time lapse photography feature which would please many digital film makers of today as well as a silent shutter release mode for live view. The D4 definitely packs a punch and should satisfy the ever fickle dslr owners.
