Detroit techno heavyweights Moodymann and Eddie Fowlkes will play in Los Angeles, May 11, 2011 for the Scion House Party event at King King in Hollywood.

Known for taking elements of Detroit techno, house and adding other grooves such as soul, jazz and more, Moodymann has transcended labels of genres by consistently experimenting with various rhythms to make his own distinct imprint.
Eddit Fowlkes is considered one of the early trail blazers of Detroit techno. His 1986 release “Goodbye Kiss” helped to establish Fowlkes in the scene as he later went on to release records on the legendary Tresor label.
