Brooklyn dance punk outfit Model/Actriz has officially signed to the True Panther label. To coincide with the announcement, the band has also shared their debut release on the imprint titled ‘Mosquito’.

‘Mosquito’ finds Model/Actriz doing what they are best known for, which is delivering a healthy dose of punk, noise rock, and dance-driven rhythms that are energetic and in your face. The content of the track revolves around one facing the hardships that may lie ahead, ultimately making for the bigger prize which is at the end of the tunnel.

Regarding the song, Model/Actriz singer Cole Haden mentioned:

“I realized that overcoming my timidness of proclaiming that truth about myself was coincidentally like clearing a hurdle in resolving this song’s central conflict: to fight the comforts of emotional complacency and choose instead a life that with its greater challenges provides greater rewards.”
