Sure American company Calvin Klein has weight among the US elite of brands, but let’s face it, they were in a bind with both capturing the younger buyers whilst still appealing to the older clientele. With Raf Simmons now at the helm as Chief Creative Director of the company, that’s sure to change. It’s quite evident that Simmons is tying the knot between traditional American style of the past with the possibilities of the modern and future, and the latest made-to-order ‘Calvin Klein By Appointment’ line is the proof. Recruiting none other than actress Millie Bobby Brown, models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Lineisy Montero, Jamie Bochert and more, the campaign was shot by fashion photographer Willy Vanderperre. On the Calvin Klein website, Raf Simmons stated that “Calvin Klein is not only about iconic underwear and jeans – it’s about so much more.” The gorgeous imagery placed next to the CK undergarments, manages to capture the spirit of classicism and playful experimentalism in one sweep.
