We are writing to inform you that Southbound comes to Lambeth for our 1st Birthday anniversary meet on Friday 22nd September at Electric Brixton.
Celebrating the best in South London bass culture over the last year, having hosted some of the most serious sound boys, selectors and MCs – we’ll be hosting four parties in September to mark the occasion in style.
For this date we’ll be taking London dance music back to its roots with a UK Garage vs Bassline head to head. Old school super group UKG All Stars rep the garage corner with So Solid Crew, Wookie and a very special secret guest all reaching. In the Bassline corner, new wave heavy-weights Preditah and Notion bring the fire alongside Niche pioneers Jamie Duggan and Bass Boy.
None other than The Streets frontman Mike Skinner completes the bill taking us back to the days of ‘Original Pirate Material’ with it’s lo-fi production, garage influenced beats and kitchen sink poetry.
