Midnight Cowgirls are the group comprised of Kandle Osborne, Eagles Of Death Metal members Jennie Vee and Leah Bluestein, along with Rex Elle. Making their debut with the song and video ‘Giddy Up’, this is the first offering from their forthcoming self-titled LP, which will be available on vinyl only via Licorice Pizza Records. From what we gather, the new album will be a mixture of country, post-punk, rockabilly and more.

The video features the band performing the track whilst in the desert, along with cruising in a classic convertible Oldsmobile. Midnight Cowgirls are also showcasing their element of style with the western attire that they’re all wearing, which was a catalyst in itself for the creation of the group. Check it out.

Regarding the origins of the band, Jennie Vee said:

“I was taking inspiration from American Heritage ranch brands like H Bar C and the original rock n rollers like Wanda Jackson, Patsy Cline, and Elvis Presley for my looks. As I completed my black studded and fringed jumpsuit – and gave it the style name “Midnight Cowgirl” – it hit me. What makes the clothing “authentic” was the musical story behind it. I knew then I had to start a country inspired band and call it The Midnight Cowgirls.”
