Chesterfield band TRASH follow up their song ‘Migraines’ with another slice of indie/dream pop magic with their new single ’81’. Taken from their upcoming self-titled EP, the track jumps out the seams with shining guitar play and vocals soaked in reverb, providing a warmth that is comforting and sonically pleasing. The track is currently out via Clue Records.
In a press statement regarding ’81’, TRASH wrote:
“When you’re 81 and you’ve had no fun it’s gonna be too late. Most of the songs on this EP are messages to myself. This message is simple: you’re not gonna be around forever so make every second count. Please fulfil life, take a risk, have experiences, laugh a lot and try to worry as little as possible.”
