A few weeks back Los Angeles band The Interrupters shared their track ‘Jailbird’, which is taken from their forthcoming LP In The Wild, out August 5th on Hellcat/Epitaph Records.
Without wasting anytime, The Interrupters now unveil another song entitled ‘As We Live’. Pulling out the big guns for this one, the tune features iconic singer Rhoda Dakar, as well as none other than Tim Armstrong of Rancid. Fusing the sounds of ska and racing rock & roll, the track harks back to the classic 2-Tone era that Dakar was heavily a part of.
Touching on the single, Aimee Interrupter stated:
“Love is the fuel for everything beautiful in the world. Love should be approached with urgency and that’s what we are trying to capture with this song. It is truly humbling to have musical legends, Tim Armstrong and Rhoda Dakar co-writing and singing this one with us.”
