It’s hard to believe that 16 years have passed since Nenah Cherry’s last solo album “Man”. When the press announcement arrived stating that Cherry would be releasing new material, you can imagine the frenzy that it created among magazines and blogs across the web.

“Blank Project” is Neneh Cherry’s forthcoming album project with producer Four Tet, scheduled for a release date of Feb. 25th, 2014. The new LP will feature a collaboration with synth-pop star Robyn. Remaining musically adventurous, the Swedish born singer glides between leftfield electronica and post punk, a scene and sound that she has been synonymously affiliated with during the 80s period of the UK.
