Moonwax is the duo consisting of Billy Smith and Robb Maynard whose sound is a lush and utterly atmospheric dealing of soul, pop and dance, all sitting atop a jazzy under layering. Making their debut with the upbeat single ‘Girl In Green’ a couple months back, the Middlesbrough-based pair have now returned with their second offering titled ‘Sayonara’. A silky summer gem, the production is stacked with glistening synths, funky guitar licks and body-moving drum kicks that all add up to one feel good and grooving package.
