London vocalist Michelle O Faith steps up with her epic track ‘Birthday Blues’, the follow-up to her EP ‘No Romance in China’ released back in September of 2015. Hauntingly beautiful, classically trained O Faith sings of an anxiety of what the future holds based on age, something that hits many youth on a daily basis.

Touching on the track, in a press statement Michelle O Faith wrote:

“I think most people can relate to some degree to what I sing about in Birthday Blues. Not wanting to grow ‘old’; having a fear of the future; whilst simultaneously praying for brighter days. It’s the most autobiographical thing I’ve ever written.”

Back in May of this year, Michelle O Faith also recieved an award from the Women Make Music establishment, following previous recipients such as Laura Mvula.
