Produced by M-Phazes and co-written with Sarah Aarons, the song is sunny, semi-upbeat deliverance that shines with bright and soulful piano keys, bursting drum kicks accompanied by multi-layered claps, all allowing for Mac to vocally present a controlled yet dynamic performance.

Touching on the single, Meg Mac said:
