Nashville’s Lillie Mae & Family are slated to release their new album Festival Eyes on September 8th via the S || C imprint. The record follows their previous LP Other Girls which landed in 2019.

Along with the announcement, Lillie Mae & Family have also shared their new single ‘Cold June’. The song is a beautiful slice of Americana that is set amongst this dreamy and lush instrumentation, with Lillie Mae vocally in optimal form. With inspirational and poetic lyrical content, ‘Cold June’ is nothing short of magical.

Touching on the track, Lillie Mae stated:

“My sis gave me a pair of shoes with velvet and sparkly jewels on them. The idea of the song stemmed from their beauty as I first thought up melodies and lyrics on the front step of a former house. The weather was unseasonably COLD for that time of year and so seemed my life. I had gotten the opportunity to write together with Anderson East shortly after that night and he helped take the idea further and it morphed into ‘Cold June.’ I’m so glad it’ll be in the world soon!”
