Texas trio Khruangbin made a splash in 2014 with a unique blend of Thai funk, psychedelic and soul, releasing their debut single “A Calf Born In Winter” back in May. The band followed suit with their deliciously funked-out EP The Infamous Bill, released in October via the Night Time Stories label.
Khruangbin now bring forth History Of Flight, a four track EP of covers including versions of Yellow Magic Orchestra’s “Firecracker”, Ennio Morricone’s “The Sicilian Plan”, Chatri Sichon’s “Chom Nang” and an incredible version of “Ha Fang Kheng Kan” by Teun-Jai Boon Praraksa. History Of Flight is available via Bandcamp, where you can name your price. Stream the EP down at the bottom.
