Kero Kero Bonito’s “Picture This” is simply lighthearted, fun and quirky music. Drawing strong influences from Japanese pop, The London trio captures something child-like in their sound which sort of forces you to not take it too seriously but rather just sit back and enjoy the ride. The song is basically about taking selfies when no one is around. Once again, the beauty is in the quirkiness of it, and if you listen to some of their older tracks such as “Cat v. Dog” and “Babies (Are So Strange), you’ll begin to understand that delving too deep into any conjured analysis will totally do you no justice. Kero Kero Bonito’s “Picture This” is out now. Check it out.
