Having shared her track ‘Lay With Me’ back in 2017, Brighton singer IVI returns with her new single ‘Stars’. Using a soundscape of lush dream pop built around airy synths and thumping drum kicks with echoing snares, the track tactfully describes that magical feeling of lust for someone during that immediate moment of thought.

Regarding the track IVI stated:

“It was one of those moments when the lyrics kind of just happened. I was sat at my keyboard writing the chords, then these words just came out, and the song was finished within a night. When moving on to arrangement, I wanted something euphoric but with a sensual feel, which is why the instrumentation
works so well together.”
