Liverpool band ETHCES are an interesting lot. Over the past two years their sound has been steeped in dark and hazy alternative, yet listening to their latest track ‘Love Is’, it’s clear that the band has no intention on being pigeon-holed to one particular style. The new work is a little brighter than previous tracks adding a funky bass line to accessible vocals, all the while incorporating alt-style lead guitar riffs. Never the less, the single is great offering, which has us highly looking forward to what’s next. Check it out.
