Back in 2024 Domi Hawken dropped some killer tracks including ‘Sociable Pariah’ and ‘Change Me’. Now the London-based artist is slated to release her forthcoming EP Water and The Wine on April 25th. Along with the announcement, Hawken has also unveiled her new single titled ‘The Moment I Need You The Most’.

While the tempo might have dropped in regards to the new track, what is quickly apparent is the edge and energy that is a signature of Domi Hawken. The song initially launches with a raw minimalism before fiery guitars rapidly kick in for seconds at a time, building up an anticipation. By the midway point, the track is in full swing before eventually erupting into one rock & roll explosion. With the production haunting and frantic at times, Domi Hawken yet again thrills with a dazzling listening experience.

Touching on the song, Domi Hawken mentioned:

“To me, the song is unhinged. It isn’t about pining over someone you’re in a relationship with – the protagonist is desperate, maybe the person she’s singing about barely knows her, their relationship being completely overblown in her mind.”
