London-based Coco Futures deliver their fun and contrasting art pop single ‘The Blue’. Adding a spice of cheekiness with the sound of an ice cream truck sampled in the production, there is a free-spirited energy flying throughout the track with an 80s experimental dare that is firmly evident. Whilst the irony of the tune is that is deals with the matter of yin and yang of the good and the bad, listen to ‘The Blue’ surely makes you feel a strange and inspiring joy.
Concerning ‘The Blue’, lead vocalist and founder Greg wrote:
“It’s a good idea to feel sad sometimes but the things you can do to avoid feeling down can be really, really fun.”
