Canadian entertainer Alexz Johnson may strike instant familiarity as the star of the television series “Instant Star”, as well as appearances in shows such as “The Listener”, “Smallville”, and “Haven”. However, Johnson is also a proper singer, musician, and songwriter.

Due to major label politics, the Vancouver born, now Brooklyn based Alexz Johnson created a Kickstarter campaign to release her EP “Skipping Stone”, back in 2012. The record caught the attention of outlets such as MTV and Billboard.
