Iconic rocker Lenny Kravitz is gearing up for the release of his twelfth studio album Blue Electric Light, out May 24th on Roxie/BMG. Having teased fans with the lead single ‘TK421’ last year, in which Kravitz also shared a video for, baring more than just his excitement for the music, the artist went on to drop separate music including ‘Road to Freedom’ which was featured on the Rustin soundtrack. Lenny Kravitz now steps forth with the second single taken from the upcoming LP titled ‘Human’.
‘Human’ leans more into the soul lane with Lenny delivering uplifting lines within disco pop melodies.
In previous interviews Kravitz mentioned that he revisited some of his old songs that he wrote from his days as Romeo Blue, even if it were solely for the purpose of reinterpreting them for the now. It will be interesting to see musically where the rock star treks, especially having built a reputation for spanning a wide range of sounds over his 30 year career.
