Having given fans a taste of what’s to come with their new album Blood Harmony with previous tracks like ‘Georgia Off My Mind’, ‘Bad Spell’, and the title track itself. Larkin Poe now bring forth their latest cut ‘Southern Comfort’.
‘Southern Comfort’ pays hommage to siblings Rebecca and Megan Lovell’s Georgia roots and then Tennessee planting. An electric handing of southern rock with blues groundings, the song is wonderfully produced with the Lovell sisters delivering a premium dose of rock & roll, that which would make the past greats proud.
Blood Harmony is out November 11th via Larkin Poe’s Tricki-Woo Records.
Touching on the single, Rebecca Lovell said:
“Growing up in Tennessee and Georgia shaped my sister and myself in so many beautiful ways. Now, as an adult, I feel grateful to reflect on that childhood and to call Nashville home. I loved writing this song, and getting to share southern hospitality, southern comfort, with all the sweet souls we encounter on our travels around the world, feels empowering.”
