Releasing her highly impressive album The Collective back in 2024, Kim Gordon has recently announced the release of her new LP dubbed PLAY ME, which is out March 13th via Matador Records. Whilst that is indeed great news in itself, the former Sonic Youth member has also shared a new video for her latest single ‘NOT TODAY’.

While Gordon’s last record was more electronically beat driven, this new song features the artist pulling inspiration from her punk, post-punk, and indie roots for something that is truly special. Upbeat in rhythm, there is a semi-frenzy feel to the production landing in the best way possible.

The video for ‘NOT TODAY’ finds Kim Gordon dancing alone around a home. The Kate and Laura Mulleavy directed visuals are pretty straight forward yet still aids the song nicely. This definitely makes us super excited for the new record. Have a look.
